About

Angel-Nina Francisci-Acquaviva is an attorney admitted to the Paris Bar. Her practice is devoted exclusively to criminal defense. She handles cases across the full spectrum of criminal law — general criminal matters, economic and financial crimes, organized crime, and cases involving cross-border elements or an international dimension. Her career has been built on a conviction: criminal defense requires both technical mastery and a concrete understanding of the human, legal, and institutional issues at stake.

Holding a Master's degree in business law and a University Diploma in African international business law from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), she steered her practice toward criminal litigation and complex proceedings.

She also holds a degree from the Paris Institute of Criminology and Criminal Law in criminal sciences and pharmaceutical crime. Committed to broadening her legal education beyond French borders, she pursued training abroad at Fordham University (New York) and Florida State University, where she studied international humanitarian law.

She trained with prominent criminal defense firms — Leborgne–Saint-Palais, Campinchi-Versini, and Dehapiot — handling all types of cases, including the most sensitive and technically demanding.

She also gained experience at the Paris Public Prosecutor's Office, within the economic, financial, and commercial division, as well as with investigating judges in the public health unit — developing a thorough understanding of the mechanics of prosecution, judicial investigation, and the institutional workings of the criminal justice system.

This dual perspective — that of the defense and that of the institution — informs a practice grounded in rigor, commitment, and close attention to the specifics of each case.

The firm serves a French and international clientele and operates in French, English, and Italian.

Maître Francisci-Acquaviva is a member of the Association des Avocats Pénalistes (ADAP) and the European Criminal Bar Association (ECBA).
